there is something amazing when we are growing up in our fields of interest.having graduated from the university with a bachelors in humanities some 18 months ago, the whole humanities field was open to me. i was interested in a lot of issues: development journalism, women issues, development criticism, child development, peace bulding, democracy and development sustainability. and i could tackle all these issues with a passion most people could not understand. but for me it was such an interesting field, i wanted to do all those things! but now 18 months down the line i can feel the excitment of being content with the issues i am currently tackling now. currently am interested in cmmunication in development. i mean i like dealing with issues of gender equality and women in development, i also like dealing with issus about youths and HIV AIDS but the issue of communication in development is what is making me so excited right now.
okay when am saying about communicaion in development i mean issues like
a) how should development facilitators commincate to local communities so that development initiatives are sustainable?
B) which communication channels should be adopted to make development strategies more effective?
c) on what point can we blame communication for an unsuccessful project?
d) are some communication strategies more effective than others?
e) are some communication strategies more appropiate or effective in particular interventions than others?

i mean issues like that. right now i just know i want to study more about communication in general, then communicatin strategies, then communication in development.
maybe i would like an internship or work experience in an organisation that specialises in communication strategies or communication in development..

i think it would be great if i studied an MA in communication in Development or something like that.
i would like to specialise in issues of development facilitation and effective communication in development
in the end become a consultant in development communication because i belive that if we have sufficient expertise in development communication we can avoid most of the ineffective projects that are poorly implemented.
